We take special care of preparing your Wedding flowers before they are delivered to you.
Most Bouquets for the Bride and Bridesmaids are hand tied Bouquets with their natural stems. These Bouquets are delivered with water bags on the base to keep them hydrated until you need them.
A Trailing Bouquet will be a wired Bouquet, which will have been fully prepared and conditioned on the morning of your wedding to ensure freshness. These are more delicate and need to be treated with care.
• When the flowers are delivered, keep your Boxed Flowers in the coolest part of the house away from Direct Sunlight.
• Only handle bouquets when necessary and when travelling, return back to the packaging box. (We suggest you keep the box In the car to transport your flowers)
• Handle your flowers gently and avoid laying the flowers on hard surfaces, to stop bruising or crushing.
• A suggestion is to pass your flowers to an attendant to hold if you are unable to.
• If flowers are supplied in water bag, once they are ready to be used take them carefully out of the water bags and dry the stems with a soft towel to avoid water stains on the gowns.
• Keep them upright when travelling in the boxes supplied
• At the reception (if possible) for display pop them into vases with a little bit of water in the bottom. If the stems have sealed, they might not drink much of the water but it will help rehydrate them slightly.
• If Possible spritz them with water to freshen them up during the course of the day.
• Posy Holder Bouquets are used when the conditions and design of the flowers require this. They are already using a water source so your flowers will stay fresher. If there are a lot of flowers in the bridal holder it is suggested to pour a small amount of water from a cup through the bouquet to rehydrate the flowers.
• Spritz when possible.
• Wired bouquets require special care as they are on artificial stems and taped to seal the ends of the flowers.
• Keep them in the box as long as possible before using them and if possible refrigerate. NOT NEAR A FREEZER
• A large chiller is also a good place to store the flowers until required.
• Spritz with water regularly throughout the day to keep them hydrated.
• Place back in the box when not being used to keep them at their premium.
Such as flower balls and cones
• Keep in a cool place
• Handle as little as possible
• Flower balls should be hanging if possible as if placed on a flat surface will crush
• Cones can be laid flat and are already hydrated so need little care other than a light spritz of water during the day.
By taking extra care during the day of your wedding you will be rewarded with beautiful blooms for your wedding and the photos.
